Genki Studio offers an innovative solution that transforms your iPad into a versatile portable monitor and advanced video capture and presentation tool. By connecting your Genki ShadowCast or any compatible USB UVC input device, you can utilize your iPad as a portable monitor for various devices such as gaming consoles, PCs, digital cameras, small board computers, or microscopes. This enables you to record input at the highest quality and conveniently save media files directly to your iPad or an external SSD to optimize storage space.

The app boasts several noteworthy features:

 <li>Seamless connection of Genki ShadowCast or compatible USB UVC input devices to your iPad.</li>
 <li>Direct viewing of UVC input on your iPad.</li>
 <li>Advanced image and video capture with audio at maximum quality.</li>
 <li>Capability to record media files directly to external storage devices like portable SSDs.</li>
 <li>Full compatibility with the Stage Manager and Multitasking features of the iPad, allowing for multitasking like listening to music or following a video guide while engaging in other activities on your device.</li>
 <li>User-friendly Grid and Ratio Overlay for effortless monitoring of professional cameras.</li>
 <li>Clean Video Output for displaying input on an external monitor through AirPlay or wired connections while simultaneously recording on your iPad. </li>
 <li>Apple Pencil-supported Mark Up feature for easy scribbling on the screen.</li>
 <li>Connectivity to an external monitor with Mark Up for Mirroring Mode, turning your iPad into a portable noteboard ideal for live events.</li>

Note that compatibility with UVC devices is contingent upon using specific models of iPads. Also, using the app necessitates additional UVC accessories, supporting devices like Genki ShadowCast and other USB UVC input devices compliant with UVC standards. Devices may require appropriate USB-C adapters, docks, or hubs for certain configurations. Specific multitasking features are available for select models of iPads only.

For UVC input support, the app works with the following iPad models:
